About us

Background
BioCell Analytica was founded by Agneta Oskarsson and Johan Lundqvist, both researchers at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). They have extensive knowledge and experience of risk assessment of hazardous chemicals, effect-based methods for investigating the presence of hazardous chemicals in water, and how such methods can be used to monitor water quality.

The methods were developed in research projects in collaboration with participants from water sector. To make these new and innovative methods available to the water sector for the benefit of the society, we have received support from, among others: Formas, Vinnova, Uppsala Innovation Centre (UIC) and SLU Holding.

BioCell Analytica is a business partner of the Swedish Water Association (Svenskt Vatten), an innovation company within the WIN Water network and chairing the DRICKS company group.
